AMY LUERS is executive director of Future Earth, an international research and innovation network for global sustainability. Amy is a data innovator and climate scientist with more than 20 years of experience working on sustainability at the intersection of science, technology, and policy. Her career began in Latin America as co-founder and executive director of Agua Para La Vida, working with rural communities to enhance access to portable water. Prior to Future Earth, she held the position of director of climate at the Skoll Global Threats Fund, was advisor on climate and resilience at the White House in the Obama administration, and senior environment program manager at Google. Amy is recognized as a PopTech Bellagio Fellow, a Switzer Environmental Fellow, and a Heinz Environmental Scholar.
