PAUL POLMAN is the CEO of Unilever, one of the largest transnational consumer goods companies in the world. Under Polman’s leadership, the company has set an ambitious target aiming to decouple company’s growth from its environmental impact, while increasing its positive social impact. Paul sits on numerous boards, including UN Global Compact (vice-chair) and Consumer Goods Forum. Paul is Chairman of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) and was previously chairman of the World Business Council for Sustainable Development. Paul actively seeks cooperation with companies to implement sustainable business strategies and drive systemic change and has received numerous awards globally for his leadership and efforts in sustainable development.
