LINE GORDON is the director of the Stockholm Resilience Centre and an internationally recognized professor in sustainable food systems. Her work has focused on the interplay between resilience thinking, food systems, and water resources.
She is particularly interested in how intentional and unintentional actions in one place can influence systemic change elsewhere. She co-leads the food theme in two Wallenberg Foundation-funded Stanford collaboration programmes, and is on the board of directors of the Eat Foundation, a science-based global platform for food system transformation.
Gordon frequently speaks at Swedish and international events, especially around food system change, water resources management, and general aspects of sustainable development. She has contributed to several books, including co-authoring the book Water Resilience for Human Prosperity.
